 Extend the Blessing is the theme of our capital stewardship campaign. This campaign promises to be an exciting spiritual adventure—one that will significantly increase our ability to connect more people to Jesus and continue to provide an open, inclusive, welcoming environment that matches the spirit of our congregation.
While our building is just a tool to facilitate God’s work, it does provide an essential place for our congregation to gather as God’s people. Today, we find ourselves with a crowded Worship Center and Commons. Our classrooms and Student Center are packed and we have limited places for our ministries and small groups to gather.
A planned 2008 facility expansion costing approximately $6.5 million in funds, will add 30,000 square feet to our present building.
Enhancements to our facility will help us to do the very thing Christ asked of us. That is to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). How exciting!
